SHILOH CONSERVATION AREA

Completed October 2014, Shiloh Conservation Area represents a new development for stormwater treatment in the City of Billings. Land Design Inc. was privileged to team on this groundbreaking project with Dowl HKM and Geum Consulting. The project consists of a series of sedimentation detention ponds, constructed wetlands cells, and open water features. These features function to trap sediment, remove unwanted nutrients from the water column and provide secondary flood detention from West End stormwater runoff. In addition, there is a trail network with educational signs so the public can learn about and enjoy the benefits of stormwater runoff management. Stop by and see what it's all about!
